Assessment Privacy Statement
The Online Values Assessment is brought to you by
Assessment Business Center (ABC). ABC, a partnership between Alessandra &
Associates, Inc. (AA) and Parker Web Solutions, Inc. (PWS), offers comprehensive
assessment systems to corporate human resource clients, business and marketing
consultants, training and coaching professionals and academics. With a wide
range of useful and enlightening subjects in ready-to-use as well as custom
designed formats, we provide assessments on the topics of self improvement,
leadership, effective communications, sales & customer satisfaction, and
personality styles. Employers who use our assessments recognize that they are
powerful resources with easily accessible data. When used as part of a training
and/or development program, they enhance employees' communications skills.
Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains our online information
practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is
collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, it is available on our
homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be
requested.
The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Assessment
Business Center websites. We do not disclose your personal information to third
parties, except to the person or organization that asked you to complete the
assessment. Information gathered from persons outside the United States may have
their personal data transferred to the USA and to our USA office.
When our web site asks for sensitive information such as credit card numbers and
expiration dates, that information is encrypted and protected through use of a
secure connection using the secure socket layer (SSL) protection.
Personal information collected for the processing of an ABC assessment includes:
name, e-mail address, gender (for report references only) and, in some cases,
position/job title and organization.
Personal information collected for credit card purchases includes: full name,
address, phone, email address (for receipts), credit card type, credit card
number, credit card security code and credit card expiration date.
Our Commitment to Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that
reason, we never collect or maintain information at our websites from those we
actually know are under 13, and no part of our websites are structured to
attract anyone under 13.
The Way We Use Information
We may use your personal data, i.e. your first name, gender and assessment
responses, to produce a personalized assessment report about you. Your gender is
only used to select the appropriate pronouns for the report. For each visitor to
our Web site, our Web server automatically recognizes the visitor's domain name
and email address (where possible). We do not collect all of that data, but it
is recognized. We collect only the domain name, but not the email address, of
visitors to our web site. We also track aggregate information on what pages
visitors access or visit and user-specific information on what pages visitors
access or visit. When someone visits our sites, a cookie is placed on the
customer's machine (if the customer accepts cookies) or is read if the customer
has visited the site previously.
We collect information you give us - the names and email addresses of those who
take our online assessments, the email addresses of those who communicate with
us via email, survey information and/or site registrations. We do not collect or
track the email addresses of those who are asked to be observers (for our 360º
assessments only) of those who purchase the online assessment. Email
addresses are not sold or traded, now or in the future, for any reason, and no
one will be contacted unless they specifically request it. The information
we collect is used to improve the content of our Web site, used to notify
consumers about updates to our Web site and used by us to contact visitors for
marketing purposes.
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the
good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of
the law or comply with legal process served on us or the site; (b) protect and
defend the rights or property of ABC and its family of Websites, or (c) act in
urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of services, or members of
the public.
If you do not want to receive email from us in the future, please let us know by
sending email to us at the above address, or calling us at the above telephone
number, or writing to us at the above address and telling us that you do not
want to receive email from our company.

a variety of security, physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to help
protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
For example, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers
with limited access that are located in controlled facilities.
